Last Packages Shipped!

The final round of backers' orders (the ones with the prints) have now been finalized, as of today! Had some snags with the data transmission of the orders (and then a missed email I sent to Support that sat around for a week unanswered...hrmm) but today's the day! Order info looks like it all finally transmitted successfully and now with the final go-ahead given, they'll be packing and shipping the prints and figures to go out right away...by this afternoon or tomorrow I expect I'll see them all marked Shipped. Hoping all these kitties get to their destinations soon!
I admit, one of the fun things about Kickstarter projects like this is getting to see those orders tick over into "Processing" and then "Shipped." The preorder link will stay active for a bit longer, so if your friends wonder where you got your La Brea (or Rio), feel free to forward them here! :) Thanks again for your support and hope to see you on the next project! (And if you'd like to hear about what's in the works, definitely stay tuned here or on Twitter for the updates to come...!)
Replacement Prints Ahoy!

Hello all! Thankfully all is well at the Light household and replacement prints have finally arrived. I've gotten them packed up and they'll be out the door tomorrow, so reward fulfillment for anyone who's got prints coming will start in just a few days! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
Note: I've packaged your print in a clear bag with a cardboard backing. For long-term storage I highly recommend removing the cardboard backing, as I don't think the cardboard is acid-free. The cardboard is only in there for stability while shipping.
Figure this is a good time to remind folks, there are about four people who still have not answered their surveys. If you've been having trouble with your survey or otherwise need some help, drop me a note and I'll see what I can do to fix that. I'll be soft-closing the surveys after I get the orders containing prints shipped out, though of course I'll still fill your order even if you're late, so long as I still have the goodies to fill them. :)
Print Problems and a Friend's Kickstarter!

Hello everyone,
There’s unfortunately been a delay in the prints. I received a pack of them from Michele’s husband at TFF, but after I got home, on getting them packed into their shipping bags I found there were several misprints with problems big enough to stop and ask about them. Still kicking myself that I didn’t think to check them while I was at the con, but I made the mistake in assuming they’d have checked them before turning them over to me. Conventions are super hectic so, well, not surprising we missed this on both ends. (;´д`) If you're waiting on a print/La Brea package, this is why it still has not shipped.
#1 is fine (slightly off-center but still straight), #2 is a bit tilted, #3 is a major problem!
At the moment, I’m not really sure what’s been going on on Michele’s end as communication has been sparse since the convention and at this point I’ve not heard from them for almost a week, but since I’d rather not ship them without her approval (I don't know how bad is "too much" or "acceptable tolerances"), I’m sort of stuck until I hear back from them. When I have more news, I will update again to let everyone know what’s going on!
In the meantime, I’m helping a friend get an art folio into production! I feel like Gideon almost needs no introduction, but if you don't know him, he does lots of adult art of big furries (in all senses of the word). He made a new 18+ art collection of his macro skater bunny boy Grind, called “Bump and Grind,” and we’re working on funding a print run of the books here on Kickstarter. Like gay furry art, bigger-than-life skater action (his deck of choice is a crushed junkyard car) or just want to help out on an artist’s printing costs? We’d be really thankful if you’d come check it out and maybe spread the word too. :) ONE WEEK ONLY! (bit of a rush due to printing deadline for BLFC)
Thank you again for all of your patience and support! Hoping to bring more cool stuff out soon! / (,,๏ ⋏ ๏,,)\ Until next time...
Prints Printed, Paypal Backers Goofed
– Mon, Apr 03, 2017 at 03:08:05 PM
Hello all,
Small update for now before going back to packing:
1. I went to Texas Furry Fiesta! It was cool to meet people there, and also I was able to pick up the package of prints from Michele Light in person. (And yes, you're not reading that wrong, TFF was the previous weekend in March...due to medical concerns with my art partner, I had to drive the whole way there and back, which takes multiple days.) So now that I'm home, my current task will be to get those prints shipped out to Fulfillrite to be sent to all of you who ordered them! I'm also removing the option to add-on additional prints at this time. If you pledged for one and did not yet answer your survey, I do still have enough on hand that you will get the one you pledged for. If you REALLY want a second print, let me know either via PM or in your survey comments, as I'm trying to retain some extras in case of shipping damage so there may be one or two left over for you to order.
2. As of today, anyone who has answered their survey and was NOT getting a print as part of their order has already been shipped out. We're past the halfway mark, woo! Streamlining the Kickstarter fulfillment procedure has been really convenient on my end, and I hope people who have been following me have enjoyed getting their stuff a lot faster.
3. In the interest of streamlining future Kickstarter projects to keep folks happy with the whole survey/delivery process, I'm most likely discontinuing the unofficial Paypal donations as a method for supporting them. I realized while I was on my convention run that I had goofed terribly and had not added the backers who had pledged with Paypal to the emails that went out for Backerkit surveys. I have to add each backer and the amount pledged into the Backerkit system by hand, and for some reason I couldn't find a way to search in Paypal that would locate anything specific like "donation" or "Kickstarter" even though that's what I had each payment tagged with when they came through the button I had set up. I only had six or seven Paypal backers for this project so it wasn't too much trouble to corral them all and get them in, but if I were to run a project that blew up larger than I was expecting and I ended up with a hundred Paypal backers I'd have to manually add in...I don't think that would work very well and I'd be extremely paranoid about missing even one, as it's important to me that people get their things!
So that's it for right now! Hoping to be able to update with more news soon. :) So close to being done!
Figures Update: Lucky Day!

Well…so oops, the figures are HERE. (⊙_⊙’) The factory guys didn’t tell me until just a couple days ago, but they upgraded the shipping on the figures from ocean freight to UPS. Wow!!
I had some figures sent to me, but backers' figures are in Jersey!
So…I got the surveys ready to go and as of this afternoon, the figures are already processed into inventory at the fulfillment warehouse, ready to be sent out. The sooner you submit your survey, the sooner you can get your items! In particular, I’ll need everyone who’s getting a print to please answer ASAP so I can tell Michele how many to make, since of course we haven’t done that part yet.
IMPORTANT: For those of you who asked about getting unpainted blanks, please note there are only 15 available in the addons section (20 were made in total, I’m temporarily reserving 5 in case of damage or other problems). This is open to backers AND new buyers, so if you want one, make sure to get your surveys in quickly! I’d like to start locking surveys down and shipping before the end of the month.
I’m also putting Rio and Nero figures and a few leftover posters from that Kickstarter in the add-ons section, for anyone who might have missed out on the previous campaign I did and wants to add something in.
For Kickstarter backers, as a thank you for following and participating in my projects, you can use your survey link that you will be receiving in your email to add extra La Brea items to your order with no additional shipping (Unpainted La Brea kit and Rio/Nero items will add an additional few bucks since they were not officially part of this crowdfunding project).
If you were not a Kickstarter backer, the first item’s shipping total will be $10 USA/$25 international and, except for the postcard, each item will add an additional $3/$5 to the shipping total. I reserve the right to adjust these prices if it turns out we’re not covering our shipping costs on these. The link to purchase items is above in the Shop Now! button next to the project header image, and also accessible here: [SHOP NOW!]
Please do not use the Shop Now! link if you were a backer on the project or you'll miss out on your discounts and I'll have trouble linking your credits paid to your order. Look for the Backerkit email or if you can't find it after 48 hours or so, make sure you've checked your Spam and Trash and then send me a message, I can send you your personalized link.
Very excited to be ahead of schedule for you folks! Would love to start shipping before the end of the month! Couldn't have done it without you all. ٩(。•ㅅ•。)و
P.S. I'll be away at Texas Furry Fiesta next weekend so I may not be able to lock down and process everyone's orders right away. If any of you are coming to the con, feel free to stop by and say hello! I most likely won't be able to do at-con pickup unless there's a lot more room in my car than I think there'll be, though.
